Who is Stanley Meng?
Stanley Meng, who streams as StanleyyMeng, is a wushu martial artist from the Bay Area who streams on Twitch and posts kung fu videos on YouTube and TikTok. How did Stanley Meng get into streaming?
Martial arts came first. Stanley says on his Twitch page that he has done wushu since age 2, and that he is left-handed and good at most sports but loves wushu most. Wushu is the modern, performance-oriented branch of Chinese martial arts, built around forms, jumps and flips.
His Instagram bio reads "Martial Artist, SF LA", and the feed is full of kung fu clips, sword work, training footage and comedy skits about martial arts culture. Twitch became the place for the longer, looser version of that: hangouts, desktop game nights and IRL days out with friends.
His stream titles show the mix. One broadcast is a first look at Overwatch after practice. Another is a Valorant night billed as a road to Radiant. Another is a hotpot mukbang right after training.

Wushu competitions, Team China and Jackie Chan
Training is a running thread on both YouTube and Twitch. His YouTube channel includes a vlog about competing in six forms at a wushu championship, a behind-the-scenes video on competition prep, and a two-part series titled "I Survived Professional Wushu Training in China". A later upload, "I Spent 24 Hours Training with China's Wushu Team", follows the same idea.
On Twitch, stream titles count down to competitions with lines like "Competing in 5 weeks" and "Comp in 3 weeks". One stream is billed as a last big meal in LA before a wushu competition in Argentina, and another has him trying to get his splits back before a comp two weeks out.
His Twitch bio says he has worked with Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Karate Kid: Legends and Nike. The Jackie Chan work has its own YouTube video, "an EXCLUSIVE Shoot w/ Jackie Chan... (Karate Kid Legends)", in which he takes viewers behind the scenes of the shoot.
